The Joint Learning Disability Strategy Refresh
The Suffolk Joint Learning Disability Strategy is to make sure people with learning disabilities live good lives as part of their community, with the right support, at the right time, from the right people. Our 2015-2020 strategy was a success, and brought lots of positive change to people living and working in Suffolk.
It was time for a refresh and over the last year we co-produced a strategy refresh with the wider Suffolk Learning Disability Partnership, consisting of family members, self-advocates, provider representatives, Adult Social Care and Health colleagues.
As this was a refresh and not a rewrite we asked, “What should stay the same?” and “What needs to change?”
