This workshop is for women with a learning disability and is led by professionals.
Bowel Screening is important.
This workshop will teach you about what to look for and when to contact your doctor
1. More than 2,500 people under 50 are diagnosed with bowel cancer in the UK every year.
2. Bowel cancer is treatable and curable especially if diagnosed early.
3. Nearly everyone survives bowel cancer if diagnosed at the earliest stage.
4. Bowel cancer is more common in the over 50s but it can affect men and women of all ages.
