An update from Leading Lives’ Stowmarket Community Hub

Eco-bricks are an ethical way of using up the plastic that can’t be recycled and won’t break down.

We care about the environment at Leading Lives and are doing our best to help reduce the environmental impact of our lifestyles on our planet.”

You can help!

We are making ECO-BRICKS with non recyclable materials such as:

  • Crisp packets
  • Cling film
  • Foil

We also recycle:

  • Cans
  • Clothes
  • Paper
  • Plastic bottles
An eco-brick is a building block made entirely from unrecyclable plastic. It’s created by filling a plastic bottle with clean, dry plastic until it’s packed tightly and can be used as a building block.

We are looking for easy ways to help the environment. The brick will be used to make furniture, or to donate to countries across the world. Bring your recycling and non-recyclables for the ECO-BRICKS to:

Stowmarket Community Hub, Crown Street, Stowmarket, IP14 1HY

Eco-bricks is very durable and will never break down, making it an ideal building material. They’re used in developing countries to construct furniture and even buildings
