There are 230 new emojis coming to Apple & Android phones this autumn.
The theme this year seems to be a drive towards greater inclusivity. Apple personally proposed more a greater range of disability-themed emoji and they’ll arrive in iOS 13 and Android Q in the next few months.
There is a new guide dog, an ear with a hearing aid, a visually impaired person, a hearing impaired person, electric and manual wheelchairs, a prosthetic arm and a prosthetic leg coming to the emoji keyboard.
We think it’s great that the new emojis will help to create a more inclusive digital environment.
