Reconnect, one step at a time
If the thought of returning to work, college or support activity is making you anxious, here are some things you can do:
Choose one familiar thing you can do first. Something you enjoy, but not done in while.
Example: walk in a park or go to a shop.
Take time to notice how you feel as you adjust to your old routine. Is it easy seeing friends you haven’t seen for a while?
It’s often easier to do things with other people. So arrange to take a walk or a journey with a friend, while keeping safe distances.
