Purple Tuesday, the UK’s first accessible shopping day, is on Tuesday 13th November 2018.
Purple Tuesday has been created and co-ordinated by disability organisation Purple.
The aim is to create awareness of the needs of shoppers with disabilities, both physical and hidden.
They also want to highlight the importance of inclusive shopping, we all have money and willing to spend it in shops if we can access them with no problems.
Some of the UK’s biggest retail chains have already signed on including, Argos, Asda, Marks & Spencer, Sainsbury’s and many more.
You can get involved on the day by tweeting why you think accessible shopping is important and use #PurpleTuesday
