Learning Disability nurse survey for people with learning disabilities, carers and parents

The APPG (All-Party Parliamentary Group) on Disability is working with Harrow Mencap and the Royal College of Nursing, as well researchers and practitioners, to produce a report on the shortage of learning disability nurses.

Harrow Mencap have made a survey for people to share their views. You can read details of this survey below:

This report will be presented in Parliament and sent to the Secretary of Health and Social Care.

To make this report as impactful as possible we would like to hear from you about your experiences of learning disability nurses – or the lack of them – in acute hospital settings.

Your answers will be anonymous. This means people reading the responses will not know who wrote them,

Once you finish the survey and click the ‘submit’ button, you will not be able to withdraw them from the report.

For more information about how we will use your data, please read our Privacy Notice/Information Sheet. Please also read Survey Monkey’s Privacy Notice for more details about how they will treat your data.

The survey is under 10 questions so will hopefully only take between 5-10 minutes of your time to complete.

Thank you for being interested in taking part in the survey. It will really help us to influence the government to consider addressing the provision of learning disability nurses and build upon our campaign for “Learning disability nurses not hearses”. campaign: https://www.harrowmencap.org.uk/learning-disability-nurses-not-hearses/

If you find anything distressing or difficult during this survey, please get in contact with Mencap’s helpline 0808 808 1111 for support
