Learning disability, race, and challenging prejudice: an event hosted by Cardiff People First

Learn from, and explore the experiences of, people who have a learning disability and come from a Black, Asian or minority ethnic background

About this Event

Women and men who have a learning disability are part of every community. Work alongside them to discover their experiences and their fights against discrimination.

Explore how you can help make the changes in your community that will enable them to play a full part and be included.

Learn from our ground-breaking projects that have not only showcased amazing hidden voices and stories, but brought people from diverse backgrounds together inclusively.

The course runs for 3 days (Tuesday 1 Dec to Thursday 3 Dec): for each day you have some preparation that should take 15 to 30 minutes in your own time, followed by a zoom workshop from 6 pm to 7pm.
