Focus Group: My Voice Focus Group Meetings

It is part of the Suffolk Learning Disability Strategy and brings people together to share ideas about how to make services better.
At this meeting, we focused on the importance of people being independent, confident, and connected to their local communities.
We talked about:
- How people find information, advice, and guidance in everyday life
- The Accessible Information Standard and why clear communication matters
- The best ways to get information about health, daily living, and support
Everyone’s views from the session will help shape the People at the Heart of Care strategy, so we can improve how support is offered in Suffolk.
This meeting is all about listening, learning, and making sure people with lived experience help lead the way.
