Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust: Hellesdon Hospital new wards

Last summer, Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust (NSFT) was awarded £38m in Government funding to redevelop new facilities at the Hellesdon Hospital site in Norwich.

A brand new 16-bed ward will also be created so that we can increase our capacity and reduce the number of patients travelling outside of the area for treatment. In total, the wards will provide 80 beds.

The project will improve the environment in which our service users receive care, leading to better clinical outcomes. We expect work to be complete in late summer 2024.

Have you been an inpatient? Have you got a learning disability or autism? Or are you a family carer? If you want to have your say about the new build, please come and tell us what you think.
