Online event to help carers in Suffolk access support

To mark Carers Rights Day carers across Suffolk are invited to join an online event to find out about the support available to them.

The event is open to everyone and will include speakers, information on the support available to carers, what rights carers have and provide the chance to ask questions to experts.

Many people are taking on more caring responsibilities for their relatives and friends who are disabled, ill or older and who need support.

Each year, Carers Rights Day, which is organised each year by Carers UK, aims to:

• Ensure carers are aware of their rights
• Let carers know where to get help and support
• Raise awareness of the needs of carers.

When is the event?

The virtual event is being held on 26 November from 2-4pm.

How do I join?

The event will be held on Microsoft Teams. You can find the link on NSFT’s website https://www.nsft.nhs.uk/trust-events
