SENDIASS is offering a free, informal online session for parents and carers in Suffolk to support you and your child with the transition from an early year’s setting to primary school.
This session was coproduced with parents and carers and will be supported by a member of the Early Years and Childcare team.
The session will be split in two parts, focussing on children with special educational needs or disabilities (SEND) after the short break.
You can leave after the first half if your child does not have additional needs.
We will explore:
- What information is helpful to find out from school;
- What is helpful for you to share with school and what resources can help you to do this;
- Ideas to help you prepare for the start of term.
And after the break:
- Considerations for pupils with SEND.
