Speech and Language Therapy can…

Find out the best way for a person to understand and tell other people what they want.

Help people use speech, pictures, signing or technology.

Help people to eat and drink safely.

Work with people and their supporters wherever the help is needed.

Provide training for support staff and carers.

Co-produce plans with people to help with communication or eating and drinking.

We work with people registered with a Suffolk GP surgery.

For communication we work with people aged 18 – 25.

For eating and drinking difficulties we work with people aged 18 and over.

Anyone can refer, the person, carers or support services.
