Sofia Jirau: Puerto Rican model

Sharing a black and white photo of herself in a Victoria’s Secret bra, Puerto Rican Sofía Jirau announced she has become a new type of angel – the first with Down’s syndrome to star in Victoria’s Secret campaign

Jirau joins 17 others women in the company’s new underwear line and campaign, Love Cloud Collection. The 24-year-old thanked Victoria’s Secret for seeing her as a model “without limits” on her Instagram.

“One day I dreamed of it, I worked on it and today it is a dream come true. I can finally tell you my big secret,” Jirau wrote on her Instagram. “I am the first Victoria’s Secret model with Down syndrome!”
