Staying Safe Online Peer Educator Awareness Sessions

Leading Lives have funded Ace Anglia to facilitate 6 Staying Safe Online awareness sessions.

Peer Educators will deliver an accessible awareness session.

The session highlights how we can best stay safe while using the internet.

The session includes real-life stories, films, and activities to:

  • Empower people to learn new skills and knowledge to keep them safe Identify where issues remain around staying safe online.
  • Highlight dangers, but also explore reasons why the internet can be good Show and discuss case studies so people can relate.
  • Listen and record people’s stories and experiences Support people to feel more confident to speak up and tell people about what they have seen or the challenges they face online.
  • Motivate people to take control of their learning and pass on information to others

The workshops will take place in the Leading Lives Community Hubs across Suffolk:
