Using technology in the ‘new normal’

Gig Buddies Information

Gig Buddies has been set up to enable people with learning disabilities to enjoy events within their communities, including live music! Gig Buddies match up a volunteer and someone with a learning disability together. They then get to enjoy going to live events together. They get to share their passion for music with each other and build a friendship through going out. Family carer events

Are you a family carer in Suffolk? Find out how carer experiences are helping Suffolk County Council decide what happens next, following the family carer survey in 2018. Co-production Event

On September the 13th, Matthew Foulger , Toby De Roy (Strategy Champions) and Anya Wooddissee (Co-production project lead), went to an event in Cambridge all about co-production. There were people there from the whole of the Eastern region, this included Suffolk, Norfolk, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Essex. 


Support Worker & PA Network planning event

On Thursday 3rd August the Learning Disability Partnership hosted a planning session for the Support Worker & PA Network. The network was of the original priorities of the Learning Disability Strategy. Support Workers are integral to the implementing the vision of the Strategy, and there needs to be a space to hear their voice.
