Introducing Coronavirusfest

Gig Buddies is all about supporting people with learning disabilities out of social isolation and in to be active in their communities along with loads of other people enjoying the same thing. This is obviously a big problem during the lockdown! However, we won’t be stopped from trying to keep the fun coming and so we started Coronavirusfest, an online music festival coming to you from musicians’ front rooms and sheds from across the country. Gig Buddies all in one day festival

‘All In One Day Festival’ is a collaboration between all the Gig Buddies projects and will bring 12 hours of music, performances and activities starting with Sydney at 11am and finishing with Cardiff at 11pm. Wellbeing Music Day – Live Music

Online Event via Zoom As part of Good Care Month, Wellbeing Suffolk are celebrating music in this afternoon and evening of music. There is something for everyone – including dance, relaxation, a chance to share your favourite music, song writing, live music and to end the evening – a music quiz. This Summer we may not have all the live events we would usually enjoy but we do have Wellbeing Music Day. Come along to one or some or all…


Gig Buddies Information

Gig Buddies has been set up to enable people with learning disabilities to enjoy events within their communities, including live music! Gig Buddies match up a volunteer and someone with a learning disability together. They then get to enjoy going to live events together. They get to share their passion for music with each other and build a friendship through going out.
