A new App called 999 BSL has been launched to enable deaf people to get emergency help from their local police, ambulance, fire and coastguard services instantly. The Royal Deaf Association have made a video explaining how 999 BSL enables emergency calls to be made through a BSL interpreter, providing a ‘UK Emergency Video Relay Service’.
