Strategy Refresh Co-Production Event
On Tuesday 8th September 2020 we hosted an initial online co-production event to begin to work on the Suffolk Learning’s Disability Strategy Refresh 2020.
We had 50 people in attendance including Advocates, Heath and Social Care Professionals, Family Carers and Self-Advocates. We would like to thank everyone who came.
We had great feedback and ideas that came out of our breakout sessions and look forward to continuing co-producing the strategy refresh with everyone.
Suffolk Learning’s Disability Strategy
Suffolk’s previous strategy ran from July 2015 – July 2020. The Suffolk Learning Disability Partnership Board want to co-produce Suffolk’s next strategy. Our 2015-2020 strategy was a success, and brought lots of positive change to people living and working in Suffolk.
We have a solid foundation on which to start from, but would like to co-produce all elements of Suffolk’s new strategy. To do this, we need to work with all members of our wider partnership.
What happens next?
We will be releasing the minutes and action plan from the Strategy Refresh’s initial co-production event in the next few weeks.
We will be doing a second co-production event in October to continue the Strategy Refresh.
