Using technology in the ‘new normal’

We have seen and heard some of the great ways that providers have been supporting people to use technology during COVID-19. Many of these were highlighted in the Talk Tech 2 online conference, hosted by Ace Anglia.

People are telling us that they need more help and support to get online and go access the wide range of activities, events and meetings now available to them.

People have told us about wonderful things that they have been able to do online during the pandemic, going to activities in other parts of the country (without the need to travel), meeting new friends, finding out information, having a voice, helping others, keeping fit, doing art classes and trying new things.

If you would like to share some the offers and stories about your organisation, the Learning Disability Partnership would like to hear about them. Please let us know by e-mailing info@suffolkordinarylives.co.uk

Co-producing new ways / forms / mechanisms of online support

At the Talk Tech conference someone suggested it would be good to get people together and look at what’s on offer. We’d like to bring people together across services to view the bigger picture, with the view to supporting people to live good, ordinary lives with the right support, at the right time, from the right people.

Please contact info@suffolkordinarylives.co.uk with expressions of interest.

Can you help promote this event and support people to attend?
