Wellbeing through Art: Imagination and Creativity

Staff and service users of Norfolk & Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust are being invited to submit a piece of artwork for display at an inspirational new exhibition taking place during the spring, which will show how art can help our wellbeing.

Called “Wellbeing Through Art – Imagination & Creativity”, the exhibition will be held at the Waterfront Gallery at the University of Suffolk between 11 and 29 May. It comes following the success of last year’s event, which was called “Recovery – How Art Helps Us”.

The exhibition will be held at the Waterfront Gallery at the University of Suffolk in Ipswich

The work can be in any medium, size or subject and does not need to be finished or framed. It will be displayed thoughtfully and returned after the exhibition.

Anyone who would like to submit artwork should do so by 27 March by contacting Maggie Batchelar on 01473 891714 or David Hardy on 01473 279271. You are also welcome to submit some words about what inspired the work.

As the exhibition will run during Mental Health Awareness Week (18 to 24 May), you are welcome to use the year’s theme – sleep – to inspire your artwork.
