About this Event
SENDIASS is offering an online hour-long session for parents, supported by Suffolk’s Lead Home Education Consultant. The session aims to help parents understand what Elective Home Education involves.
We will begin with a presentation explaining:
What Elective Home Education (EHE) is;
What responsibilities, costs and expectations are involved for parents and what responsibility the LA has;
Considerations for exams;
Elective Home Education and Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) needs, assessments and Education, Health and Care Plans.
We will then invite your questions and discussion.
Due to the popularity of our Elective Home Education session, we’re offering another online session to explain what Elective Home Education involves.
This will also be supported by Suffolk’s Lead Home Education Consultant and will involve a short presentation followed by your questions and discussion.
